What Claude tracking will measure

  • Whether Claude mentions or recommends your brand when it answers your customers' questions with web search.
  • Your position when Claude lists several options.
  • The pages Claude cites, taken from the citation data it returns — separate from pages it searched but didn't cite.
  • Competitors Claude recommends instead.

Claude through the API is not the Claude.ai app, which adds its own settings and memory; reports will say so.
